Privacy Policy

For the author: what this site processes

A factual list of what the site and its API handle, so the supplied policy can cover it. This list is not policy text.

• Sign-in: email address, one-time sign-in codes and links, and a session token kept in the browser.
• Alert settings: name, email, optional phone number, fire types, delivery timing, unsubscribe and bounce status.
• Access requests from people who are not members yet: name, email, phone and company.
• Board usage events (opens, time on the board, direction taps, filters), tied to the signed-in member.
• Push subscriptions (a device endpoint) when push alerts are turned on.
• Feedback submitted on the board.
• Public records shown on the board: fire dispatch data and county parcel details. Owner names and contact data are not published.
• Service providers that process this data (hosting, email delivery, and an SMS provider if text alerts are turned on).
• Retention periods, and how a member asks for access, correction or deletion.
